Sales promoter for a morning

So glad that i don't work as a sales promoter in Kch.

Was helping out at the charity sale by Sarawak Autistic Association today. My job was to sell as many (let me recall *take a deep breath*) coconut candies, lao po pin, buttermilk cake and cup cake as possible. Calling out our 'menu' was already a challenge!! Took me a while to be able to announce it in one breath! ^^

I held out food samples for potential customers to try. With a big smile on my face of coz. Walao eh, some just walked past me like i wanted to poison them! Wui, it's free food? Don't want mei? I thought Kch people like free stuff? Some would kindly waved their hands but some just pretended that they didn't see me. So typical of Kch ppl. You know what I think? I think hor, they were just afraid that I would force them to buy once they stopped & tasted the food. Don't compare me with the promoters of hair/body care section in Everise. I just wanna sell food so we can donate to the unfortunates.

Quite happy with our performance, considering that there were only 3 sales promoters. We managed to donate RM750++ to SAA. I wanna thank those who made this possible. You undoubtedly have beautiful hearts :)

True Friends Never Forget

Today is KNH’s birthday. We don’t have to remember it. It’s stuck in our heads, like a piece of stubborn bubble gum - one great quality true friends possess (^V^)y

We know KNH is a Garfield Maniac. You can tell by taking one glance at his car:

Wah, even got cover for gear stick. How come your steering wheel & handbrake are 'naked'?

I gave KNH a Garfield birthday card a few years ago. He said he still keeps it BUT (there is always a but after every good thing) he has NO IDEA where he puts it. Hmmm.. Isn’t that the same as not having it since he doesn’t know where it is? *Me, broken-hearted*

Since KNH is a serious Garfield collector (& also garbage collector e.g. he used to display empty cans on his office desk), JS and I decided to give him a Garfield birthday cake to remember by. All the cakes we saw were either Power Puff Girls or Pokemon. Hmm.. not very hard to tell which generation KNH is from huh? Hehe…

We practically went all over Kch just to look for KNH’s favourite character! We even waited for him in our car like two baked potatoes for 40 minutes! He said he would reach home from work slightly after 1pm. He LIED. He only left office slightly after 1pm. Man, we went thru & sufferred so much. It better worth all our effort!

Some fun pictures taken at KNH’s new house

The Angels who spread happiness...

"Look at my 'crab' pose!"

"What colour is Garfield's underwear?'

"I wish to have more friends like JS and JK"

Is JS the new rapist? ;p Hey, JS, what happens to your taste in man? hehe...

KNH dirtied the place! What's that white stuff? Is that......?

"My tongue is too short to lick the cream!"

Figurines to remind KNH of his Angelic friends.
KNH, don't misplace them like what u''ve done with the birthday card!

KNH, your grandma likes us. We like your grandma too. In fact, we like her more. She is more sporting than you! We will come visit grandma again...

P/S: KNH’s house is full of tit bits. Can see some of the tit bits in the pictures. I like the coffee-green tea mooncake and grandma's homemade lime paste veli muchie!

Saw KNH's new place [so we know where he is this coming CNY], tasted homemade lime paste and mooncake & brought tears of joy and happiness to KNH [& grandma] (Priceless!)

Happy Bird-day Nyiap!

Happy B'day to Me....

My friend treated me to dinner the other night. It was to celebrate my b'day. I know, my birthday is more than 2 months away... She insisted because she will be in confinement in a month's time & will definitely not able to celebrate with me. I won't wanna end up celebrating my b'day at her house anyway. It's not polite for me to finish her kacangma since she needs it more than I do @v@

We went to Bla Bla Bla... I love being the birthday girl because it means I get to order WHATEVER I WANT! YAYEEeee... ^^ We had Yam Duck (Love yam! yam = yum) and grilled salmon served with crispy "money" vege (can't live without salmon! makes me crave for salmon sashimi!!). To complete this wonderful meal, I had a big glass of Iced Pandan Green Tea with Lychee.... Arrr, so full!

Wait a minute. What's birthday celebrationn without a B'day cake? Hey PJ, you owe me one b'day cake k? Think you could get away just because you are pregnant? ;p

New historical site - FOUND

I'm envious of Jane leh. She has been to so many interesting places and poor me, only get to experience these beautiful places by reading Jane's blog or watching the Travel & Living channel on Astro *pity* Recently, Jane has even visited one of the world's most amazing historical site - Terrocotta Warriors.

I browsed thru my photo albums just now and found that I've my very own 'Terrocotta Warriors' too!

Ta da...............

Mine

In fact, this was 'co-built' by me, Jane and HPS. Equally impressive leh? hehe...

"啊妈, 我行左!"

Very soon, Kch Town will be flooded with Little "Anacondas". Why? WHy?! WHY?!? I will tell you why. That's because BIG Anaconda got married yesterday and COULD NOT WAIT any longer to start the 'production' [He said so in his video. Also, he refused to drink more last night because per him, he wanted to... u know the rest of the sentence. It's too obscene to say it here haha...]

The triumph look of Ah Chew ~啊妈, 我行左!

Ah Chew must be grateful that Ah Nyiap gave him the chance to 'start' early *wink*

I bought 4D yesterday but didn't strike. Wanna reimburse from Ah Chew liao. He didn't bring any good luck to his friends. Lao Ya oneeee... Ah chew will be going for their honeymoon this Sat. You can compensate us by geting us souvenirs!! ^^

HL Hungers for W's touch

At seminar yesterday, Mr. How Lian [HL] kept saying that a new guy in EY looks like Mr. W. "My Gosh, He looks like W!", "That's how W adjusts his glasses!" "Don't you think he looks like W?" etc... on and on he went. Now I know what a broken recorder is! haha..

I know HL misses W. But I had no idea he misses him that much until yesterday! Hmm.. it's understandable. After all, both of them had a very close & intimate relationship previously. Not sure what HL misses more - W or the PHYSICAL contacts ;p

Mr. How Lian, here is a picture of your Mr. W look-alike that you asked me to take with my phone camera. Brighther future awaits this young man.. u know what u mustn't do, don't u? ^^

HL really thinks he looks like W. Guys, U be the judge. Beauty is really in the eyes of the beholder....

Angels in disguise

Today, jc admitted that he is lucky to know Jane and me ^^ He is grateful (I hope he really is ;p) that I've done him a big favour by solving an important & urgent matter.

Everyone needs an Angel who will come to his/her rescue in time of need. And jc is sure lucky to have two!!! So do everyone else who know us hehe...
*blush*

Angels with invisible wings *wink*

"Supersize Me"

Had a big big lunch last Thurs! Actually, I planned to only have something light because i already had a few pieces of cakes during the meeting at HQ in the morning. But God wouldn't let meEEEeeee because we went to one of my favourite eateries called Tempayan where I always lose control. Like how kids are in candy bars. So many choices but so little stomach space! Everytime the waitress brings out a dish (be it mine or someone else's), I never fail to look in amazement. The fragrance, tasty look and SIZE of the food are enough to bring me up the heaven! Aaaahhh.....

*My colleagues' - Go on... lick your monitor*
(Lychee Fish Fillet & Rice; Kampung Fried Rice; Iced Pineapple, orange & lemon tea; Beef Burger - I tasted all. They aren't bad!)

After a very long 'discussion', my brain and stomach finally agreed on Very Berry Strawberry and TR Club Sandwich. I was expecting one serving of triangular-fast-food-style sandwich but instead, I was served with this

*Voila! My Tempayan's healthy version of Big Mac*
Our eyes popped out when the waitress presented me with this HUGE sandwich! For only RM8, i got french fries, salad and a REALLY BIG sandwich with turkey ham, 2 sunny-side up eggs, 2 pcs of melted cheese slices, lots of lettuce and tomato slices.

Wah, You should see how thick my sandwich was! Too 'tall' to even fit into my mouth! There goes my diet plan. Tempayan supersized me!! It was very delicious - love the crunchy toasts too! I only managed to eat half of the sandwich though because of its size. Am definitely going back there again, and again and again and... You know, am already thinking about my next visit hehehe....

Street Fighter

It is so frustrating to drive in Kuching! Drivers are just soOOOooo inconsiderate! They just park wherever and anyhow they want! They don't care if they are causing inconveniences to other users of the road.

Was driving in a narrow road just now. The road is so narrow that it only fits one car at one time. Half way thru the road, I faced this:

Please excuse my child-like drawing ;p Anyways, the good citizens parked their cars in proper parking spots whereas this 'not-fit-to-be-on-the-road' Kenari dude parked his car on the yellow line, with his 'butt' sticking out. It was difficult for my purple dinasaur to get thru! *Evil thought* How I wish some drunk driver would appear out of nowhere and turn that Kenari into a piece of scrap metal!!

After many minutes of careful car steering adjustments, I finally made it through, without hitting any of the cars of course. Still boiling hot, I got out of my car with a written note and stuck it on his windshield. It's just a friendly note to remind him to park properly next time. It says Watch where u park next time, you (_?_) !! I know, I should have written something harsh-er. But.... well, guess that's just not in my blood..... I'm just too kind.

High metabolism rate??

My normal food per day (let's take today for instance):

Breakfast - 1 meat zhang + 1 slice of peanut butter toast + hot drink

Morning tea - chocolate + keropok from colleague + 1 apple + 1 banana +
cherries + strawberries
Lunch - 2 slices of bread + mushroom soup + noodles + teh c
Afternoon tea - 1 banana + 1 capsicum + 2 apples + more cherries

Snacks after afternoon tea - 1 apple + 1 banana + more strawberries + Persimmon
Dinner - Minced pork + vege + soup + ginger chicken + Fish
Snack after dinner - Nuts

My snacks!

Trust me, am not greedy. I eat because i'm HUNGRY! One thing I cannot understand though - why am I hungry ALL THE TIME??? Mayb I've Polyphargia? ^^ I guess I just love and enjoy food :) A friend who eats way way less than me can go through one whole day with just one glass of milk + bread in the morning but no no, not me. My stomach will prompt me to fill it up after just one hour (or less) of food. My explanation? I use my brain too much, so my energy gets used up so fast that i've to constantly feed myself so i can continue to think. Hmmm... i wonder if Robert Einstein ate as much as me... ;p

Honestly, I rather die of overeating than starve to death...

******************************
I had lunch with a friend today... u think i eat a lot? wait til u see the amount of food my friend ate! After eating one plate of chicken rice (she totally cleaned up the whole thing!! except for a few slices of cucumber) + vege + iced lemon tea, she continued to fill her tummy with 1 bee pao bee, 1 cai kueh + 1 yam kueh + milo!!! I'm impressed!!

Ghostly Picture

Took this picture when I visited Jane in HK.

The lights and twinkling star made this outdoor Xmas Tree very pretty. To remember this forever, I snapped the photo. It turns out clear and beautiful but little did i know that my camera actually captured more than that..........

It's still Hungry Ghost month, so if you are scared, pls don't scroll down. If you are scared and still continue to scroll down, just remember this - You have been warned.

He is looking at u!

Great invention of the lifetime?!?!

How lazy can a person get??? I was looking thru a catalogue and spotted an item only for the Lazy. It is a battery operated Self-Stirring Mug!! It automatically stirs beverages at a touch of a button on the handle! Hmm... Is it so difficult to lift a spoon and stir? I never know that it requires a lot of effort to do that! i bet this mug must be invented by the Lazy for the Lazy. Hmm.. but hor, i think smarter ppl will use this to make themselves a cup of cappucino/chocolate that you normally pay RM12++ at fancy coffee shops. So in a way, you spend RM19.90 on the mug which in turn means that you will save yourself many RM12++. Now, that's a good-enough reason to have one ;p
