Part of life~

When my colleague offered me tickets to watch a locally-produced movie, I happily accepted. Not because the tickets were free but I find that the locally-made movies are now very good. Like what we say here... "Got Standard!" hehehe.... We have soOoo many talented people here!

The movie is called Hold Me Tight (出走的时光）. It's quite a meaningful movie which reminds us to cherish our loved ones & time and let go of hatred as life is short. You don't want to feel regret only when you are on your deathbed~

The narrator began the movie by posting questions, which, probably some of us have wondered before. Why were we born to this world if we would all die in the end? Were we born to wait for death? ........

Over lunch the next day, my colleague told me that his dog just died due to old age. I asked if he has any plan for a new dog. He said he will never ever want to raise a dog anymore because it's such a sad feeling to lose a family, a friend.

I understand how he feels. I have been through that many times too. But our family continues to have pets. 

We must understand that when there is life, there will sure be death. No one can avoid this cycle, even our mobile phones :P It's fine and 1 second later, it is cracked T____T

According to my colleague's philosophy, that means he should not have a phone, a car, house etc and even children too because the material things will break down one day, children too, will grow old and leave this world.

Having to end a relationship should not prevent us from starting a new one. We should all learn to live the moment (活在当下）and cherish the people, time, things, moments etc that we have. Yes, it's true that our loyal doggy friend will leave us one day but at least we have a wonderful 10 years together! 10 years may not be a lot to us but it is the doggy's WHOLE LIFE. 

My colleague was impressed ~  I think the movie has made me wiser hehehe....

Do watch the movie. It is funny. It is sad. It is touching. It is meaningful....

I think I'm addicted again (￣_￣ )

I tried not to start it but.... curiosity kills a cat.... ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I have not watched any Korean series since 2010. Yup, it has been 3 good years that I stayed away from it because (1) I was too lazy to start one as watching series requires a lot of time and energy; (2) most importantly, series watching can make you a bad person like what happened in 2010 if precaution is not exercised! hehe...

Recently I broke my own "vow".....  because I couldn't understand why everyone is crazy over this particular Korean series called 来自星星的你. Everyone tries to copy the character's looks. The clothes and shoes she wore and the bags she used in the series were gone in seconds. There are even imitations for people with lower spending budget. The most outrages thing is that, only the specific colours of lipsticks which she used in the series were SOLD OUT worldwide! Even her favourite fried chicken with beer becomes a hip thing! Everyone wants to be Her. 

I am curious person. Once i attended a dinner organised by a direct sales. People were yelling slogans, cheering for those sharing their testimonials. They were excited over speakers who would be sharing their experiences the next day etc... I wondered what made them so enthusiastic, so I purposely re-scheduled my plan on the next day just to attend their sharing session just to FIND OUT.

Yup, you guess it. Being curious and wanting to find out why everyone is crazy over this Korean series,  I also started watching it. So far, am only up to episode 7. I tell u, it's GOOD! it is not the usual Korean love & death type of series. It has everything! It is funny, romantic. It has actions, murder, UFO, hip fashion etc.... 

I exercise self-control this time. No dirty dishes piling up; No late night sleep; Pee on time; No eating of junk food..... Yeah, u get it. Basically, am being such a good girl that I think from now on, I can watch series haha..

If u haven't watched this series, u can seriously start it now. Just remember to watch it with care~ let's see if u are as disciplined as me buahahahaha...

What have i been busy with....?

I've just watched all 28 episodes of this Taiwanese series 就想赖着你 by Jerry Yan (my idol!!!) and Ella. Nice! Although some part of the stories are not realistic, but who cares right??

I'm kinda disappointed in the ending though. After all the nice parts, it ended like this? I was looking forward to the wedding scene but instead, it hops straight to the 'jump-to-the-future' ending! A bit "chin chai" (草率) lorr..

Where is this scene???

oh well, nvm. To me, it's still worth the time and effort to watch (I actually spent days downloading from internet!). Jerry is still handsome!! Ella is cute too...

Okie, excuse me. i wanna re-watch certain scenes now.

Like being in the Movies....

It was a dramatic morn last sunday.

I was waiting at the traffic lights when a police car came from nowhere like a thunder and stopped in the middle of the junction. I thought they were making way for the VIPs but instead, a few policemen in uniforms jumped out from the car, carrying really big guns in their hands and ran towards an oncoming black car.

Then there was shouting everywhere. The next thing i saw, the policemen pointed their long guns at the car while other policemen pulled a few men out from the car.

Everything happened very quickly.

I have no idea what's happening but it's the first time i saw the policemen here in action! Haha... It was quite an excitement at 10 in the morn. Live action movie mannnn... Too bad no Jacky Chan.... That would be 'cool-er'!

Fly Lice

Hehe, u must be wondering what the heck fly lice is. That's the pronounciation in HK. It means Fried Rice lol




My breakfast menu for the past 4 days has been fried rice. Yup, fried the rice 4 days in a row. I'm not sick of it yet as mum's homecooked fried rice is always very tasty. But.... is 10 eggs in 4 days too much for me?

Yeah, I also think that it's a bit too much. Am turning into an egg soon! That's why I'm going to sweat it off by climbing Mt Singai for the 9th time tomorrow. I was gonna stick to Lucky 8 for the rest of my life but.... a bunch of enthusiastic mountaineers' fate depends on me so it's waking up at 6am tomorrow......

Yeah, I'm too nice I know....

Rotten Mummy

Went to watch Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor last night. It is my must-see because Jet Li is in the movie.

What's my rating? Can I give a negative number because i think that's what it deserves.

Jet Li still looks cool. He always does, no matter acting as a good or bad guy. Love to see him in action! He is quick and serious when he fights - ahhh, things that make a man sexy.... ;p

Personally, I think he is the BEST in martial arts. Stand aside, Jacky Chan. Okie, we all know how 'fightable' Jet Li is. But him turning into a 3 headed dragon that breathed out fire and also transforming into a hairy beast with horns????? New skills izit?

Mannnn...I laughed so hard and so much during the show. Not with the movie but AT the movie! haha... It's entertaining. In the dumb way. U just gotta see it to know what I'm talking about though it's not recommended to burn your hard-earned cash like that. Hmm.. probably just go get a cheap DVD and share it among a group of people. Paying 10 cent for a crappy movie? That, I won't complain ;p

The movie gets rotten eggs and tomatoes from me. As for Jet Li, he still gets my admiration :)
