Rising from the Dead

An EX friend contacted me recently to follow up on an unfinished business. In order to get what she wants from me, she uses what she is best at - manipulation. Apart from the phone calls and random visits to demand that I attend to her "urgent" matter, she also sends early morning and late night messages to "kindly & politely remind' me about it. Recently, she has even upgraded to sending threatening messages! Are these the ways to ask for a favour? Just one person in this world I know of agrees with her actions....

Who are these shameless assholes? must be the question in your mind. If you are curious about their identities, just look up the dictionary for "traitors", "pretenders", & etc** for their pictures.

My New Found Hobby

The thing about having a naughty puppy at home is having to put up with the blood sucking vampires on her body. I've killed sOOOOoooo many ticks and fleas for the past two months that i think the whole colony is going extinct! haha... Hey, it's kinda weird to say this but I feel sOOOooo good killing these irritating beasts!! I get so much satisfaction from seeing them struggling to escape for their lives, being crushed to death & seeing their blood splashing everywhere! Wuhahahaha... Beware... there is a streak of sadism in me....

Diminishing Excitement

I used to feel excited about CNY. My excitement would grew as it came closer because it was the only time I could make extra $$$. When I was youngER, 5 x Hudson sweets = 20c; 1 x soya bean milk = 20c. A $2 angpow meant a lot to me at that time because $2 = 50 x Hudson sweets or 10 x soya bean milk. Yup, $2 was a HUGE sum to me. It was enough to make me feel like Bill Gates, the richest man on earth!

Strangely, I no longer feel the same way about CNY. Everyone is busy with CNY preparation while I feel that it's just another long holiday. Is something wrong with me? WHAT HAPPEN TO ME?! May be I have turned cold blooded? May be it's because I know I won't get any angpows this yr? Am I the only person who is not excited about CNY? I'm still looking forward to CNY though. Because it is the only time I give myself excuses to fill my stomach with all the unhealhty tit bits and fizzy drinks! ahahaha... Wait a minute, I do that on Hari Raya and X'mas too! DAMN!

Black or White??

I had lunch with my friends last friday. Two of them ** can really 'talk'! [Important note: definition of talk here means boast, deny and make up stories.] Try holding up a white sheet of A4 paper in front of these guys. They will tell you that it's black and will say anything to convince u that it is not what it seems it is, when clearly, it's just a piece of WHITE paper!! haha... It's fortunate that they didn't become lawyers. Otherwise, all the innocent people would be put into jails! haha.. Nevertheless, they are good entertainers :)

** Below is the faces of my friends which I've kindly "extracted" for my readers.

My sincere thanks to my humurous friends for the inspiration & enjoyable lunch :p

I hope this never ends....

It's that time of the year again! Yayeee...

Pandugan Street is beautifully decorated with red lanterns to signify the arrival, welcome and celebrate CNY!

(What's CNY without red lanterns? Isn't the street lovely?)

It has become my tradition to cruise around Padungan Street every CNY, to look at the brightly lit lanterns. They are soOOOooo pretty! They make me feel happy :) They not only brighten the street but also my day/ mood/ life. To me, they are like anti-depression pills ;p Don't worry, an overdose of such pills won't kill... Want some??

Mission & Vision

Chinese New Year is 8 days away. My aim this year is to fill my tummy with keropok(Crackers) & acar (Preserved vege). Yeah yeah, my aim is the same every year. That just shows how faithful I'm! haha.. It's my tradition to eat these during CNY. I believe that my life will be better and happier if I start my CNY with my favourite tit bits. I have a thing for Keropok and Acar. To me, they are like a loving, inseparable couple whereby one is no good without the other. In other words, Keropok is simply INCOMPLETE without acar & vice-versa. I'm a simple (but sometimes I can be complicated ;p) gal with simple taste and I'm easily satisfied. Now that u guys know how important these are to me, please make sure that they are READILY available when I visit your homes this coming CNY. If you already have them at home, good. Otherwise, GO GET SOME! haha...

I have a vision that I will look like Fatso after this CNY. It's always been the case so I don't expect any exception this year. Looks like Evil Jenn has defeated Angelic Jenn (again) even before the war begins!. Well, anything for keropok & acar.....

Bloody......

I planned to have a relaxing night at home tonight. When I was happily chatting with Jude on the phone regarding cheap air asia tickets, my mum yelled out "Come & rescue Husky!!! I accidentally chopped Her!!!". OMG, Husky has been CHOPPED?! Into half or pieces?!?! All kinds of scary images flashed thru my mind. I slammed down the phone and jumped to the scene. To my horror, I saw my mum holding the injured puppy (Thank God! She is still in one piece!!) and there was blood all over her and the floor. And Husky was covered with blood! It was just like a murder scene!!

I panicked and did what I am best at - CRY. Fortunately, I have a very alert dad who immediately grabbed the first aid kit and tried to stop her blood with tissue paper and ointment. The blood kept splashing out like tap water and Little Husky was licking (more like drinking) her own blood from her nose - Hmm... this tastes like Bloody Mary.

We rushed Husky to the vet nearby. I wonder what went thru the vet's mind when I said "My mum was chopping the jungle durian open when Husky hopped over". Husky's nose was cut and was given an injection (not stitches, phewwww), some cream to apply and tablets to take. Husky should be given a bravery award for she did not make a sound from the moment she got "chopped" til she got home. I'm glad to annonce that she has returned to her normal, hyperactive-self. Good girl Husky...

** I was too shaken to take any photos. Please feel free to exercise your wildest imagination :)

Truth revealed

Husky's plate has been spotless lately. I was impressed! She has been very picky with food. I even have to feed her with "Appeton", which I got from the vet to increase her appetite. Today, just after I put on my pink high heels, ready to go to work, I found a huge spotty kitty eating Husky's breakfast!! My reaction? I grabbed a red umbrella and ran towards the thief, yelling at the same time. I chased after her around my home in my high heels.

My neighbours must be worried as they have a crazy girl living hereby! haha.. The cat escaped successfully. Lucky for her or else I would skin, cook and feed her to Husky in revenge for food stealing. haha.. Attention animals/cats lovers, I was just kidding okay.

Poor Husky was helplessly watching her food being stolen by the big, shameless cat. What else can Little Husky do? The damn cat is bigger and longer than her! Hmm.. wait til she grows up. She will have the thief torn into pieces in no time!
