Finally, we meet!

Psk, look who is back.....

The Little one is back

OK, it's a bit outdated because my sister and cute little nephew had come and left. We had wonderful times together and man.. I miss them! Although it was not easy to take care of the big one (my sister) and the little one (YY) but they were such fun to be with, especially YY! He is simply adorable!

Everyone is happy to see yy and...
of course my sister too :P

YY is such an active boy! It is quite a challenge to hold him because he simply wouldn't stay still.  He even tried to pull out my uncle's eye on their first meeting! haha.. ok, i was exaggerating but it really did look like so....

My uncle, trying to hold yy

After many tries, my uncle finally got yy to stay still...
for 0.5 second haha
(see last picture on the bottom right)

I love these pictures when i combined them... it's such a challenge to take picture with yy too haha... he moves around too much!

The next time I see YY, he would be walking and running around... Gosh, i wouldn't want to imagine that...

My sister told us that when she went for ultrasound sessions during her pregnancy, the doctor had a hard time in scanning because the naughty boy would play hide and seek with him. It happened too often that the doctor finally said to my sister that this boy is gonna be a naughty one next time... and said "good luck" to her.

Yeah sis, good luck. that's all i can say haha...

破表! I broke it....

Last week, I noticed that the clock has stopped ticking (would be great if time stopped too! hehe). So i took it down in order to change the battery. However, it was stubbornly attached so, I hit the clock against my palm and it came out smoothly. A little force is good sometimes hehe...

When I put in a new battery, i noticed a lot of "snow flakes" on the floor... weird.... it turned out that, the inside of the clock was torn.... into pieces...

I thought it looked creative like this so I hang it back.

After a few minutes, my dad told me to take it down. He said don't hang a broken clock on the wall! Oh, he noticed....

I took a good look and laughed so hard. Yeah, it is pretty broken. What a fragile clock! What can u expect from a $10 clock? hehe...

名符其实的“破表” haha...

I thought it is OK to have no clock at home since i can always refer to my phone. Ha!, life without a clock at home is just sOoooo inconvenient! I habitually ran to the dinning room where the clock is usually hang, only to find a naked wall and had to run to my bag to look for my phone for time... that is really a waste of precious time...

So I went to the shop to get a new clock the next day. i got one that is big, simple and most importantly, heavy duty one...

At our house, time is always 20 mins faster
so...don't panic when u look at the clock hehe...

Did you know that a good clock can be very expensive? Now i totally understand the meaning "Time is precious" :P

Part of life~

When my colleague offered me tickets to watch a locally-produced movie, I happily accepted. Not because the tickets were free but I find that the locally-made movies are now very good. Like what we say here... "Got Standard!" hehehe.... We have soOoo many talented people here!

The movie is called Hold Me Tight (出走的时光). It's quite a meaningful movie which reminds us to cherish our loved ones & time and let go of hatred as life is short. You don't want to feel regret only when you are on your deathbed~

The narrator began the movie by posting questions, which, probably some of us have wondered before. Why were we born to this world if we would all die in the end? Were we born to wait for death? ........

Over lunch the next day, my colleague told me that his dog just died due to old age. I asked if he has any plan for a new dog. He said he will never ever want to raise a dog anymore because it's such a sad feeling to lose a family, a friend.

I understand how he feels. I have been through that many times too. But our family continues to have pets.

We must understand that when there is life, there will sure be death. No one can avoid this cycle, even our mobile phones :P It's fine and 1 second later, it is cracked T____T

According to my colleague's philosophy, that means he should not have a phone, a car, house etc and even children too because the material things will break down one day, children too, will grow old and leave this world.

Having to end a relationship should not prevent us from starting a new one. We should all learn to live the moment (活在当下)and cherish the people, time, things, moments etc that we have. Yes, it's true that our loyal doggy friend will leave us one day but at least we have a wonderful 10 years together! 10 years may not be a lot to us but it is the doggy's WHOLE LIFE.

My colleague was impressed ~  I think the movie has made me wiser hehehe....

Do watch the movie. It is funny. It is sad. It is touching. It is meaningful....

Received a postcard from the stars.
They came to the cinema to promote the movie

I jump you jump

It hasn't rained for about 2 weeks now. It's very hot. My room, being at the west side is like an oven, even at night time T___T  i wish we could have a big rain right now to cool the earth down.

Due to the heat, Tiger prefers to lie still on the floor. Even when the gate is wide-opened, he continues to lie still like a piece of statute. It's not like him because usually, he would run out like an escapee haha...

Last night, i came home to find Tiger lying lazily at the car porch. I went to pet him. His fur was silky smooth as I just gave him a bath in the morning :P Then I found a flea on him! I immediately pull it out and ran to the back of my house to throw it away into the woods. I suppose I could just kill the flea simply by stepping hard on it but..... I believe in Karma. If I kill it now,  I will need to pay back next time.  Noooo, i don't want to suffer because of this idiotic act! *wise one*  hehe..

So back to my story.... To get rid of the flea, i ran and jumped high because I wanted to use my full force to throw the flea far far away into the woods. A second later, I heard a loud bang.

I looked down and.... Sh*T! my phone dropped out from my pocket when I jumped!! I quickly pick it up and examined it. It seemed alright, still in one piece. I breathed a sigh of relief.

However, when I was under the bright light, I realised that the screen has cracked.... My heart shattered at the same time :(

Can't really see the damage
because my phone is white in colour

Can you see the cracks on the screen? T_____T

Sigh, it kinda reminds me that everything is Impermanence (无常)~  A second ago, it was still good and a second later, it's broken. Isn't it a bit like Life?

Over-reacting~

Gosh, what's with the weather? It's super duber hot!

so hot that I couldn't resist and went to cut my hair short.
Haha, i can be sOOooo efficient when i want to.

One of my colleagues screamed when she saw my short hair. She said i cut it too short.
Is it? i thought i had the same length before.

What do u think?

It's time to get fat!

It's Duanwu Festival this coming Saturday.

We don't make zong zi anymore because it requires a lot of work and time. Also, we have been receiving zong zi from friends since last Wednesday, thus my mum found an excuse not to go through the trouble to make our own. Although I really miss the ones she makes (because I can customise it with lots of chestnuts!), but too much glutinous rice will spoil my beautiful (*vomit*) body shape :P

Back to the zong zi, at first I was excited of the non-stop gifts from friends because zong zi is tasty! I simply love the leafy smell in the glutinous rice. What's more, i love the ones with lots of chestnuts and egg york!

One for breakfast & one for lunch

Guess what? I had zong zi everyday since last Wednesday. Gosh, with this kind of eating, I think I will turn into a bak zhang by Saturday! @_@

Well, that's something to worry about later. For now, I will just eat zong zi and make sure i drink tea after that to wash away the guilt...
