Last week, I noticed that the clock has stopped ticking (would be great if time stopped too! hehe). So i took it down in order to change the battery. However, it was stubbornly attached so, I hit the clock against my palm and it came out smoothly. A little force is good sometimes hehe...
When I put in a new battery, i noticed a lot of "snow flakes" on the floor... weird.... it turned out that, the inside of the clock was torn.... into pieces...
I thought it looked creative like this so I hang it back.
After a few minutes, my dad told me to take it down. He said don't hang a broken clock on the wall! Oh, he noticed....
I took a good look and laughed so hard. Yeah, it is pretty broken. What a fragile clock! What can u expect from a $10 clock? hehe...
名符其实的“破表” haha...
I thought it is OK to have no clock at home since i can always refer to my phone. Ha!, life without a clock at home is just sOoooo inconvenient! I habitually ran to the dinning room where the clock is usually hang, only to find a naked wall and had to run to my bag to look for my phone for time... that is really a waste of precious time...
So I went to the shop to get a new clock the next day. i got one that is big, simple and most importantly, heavy duty one...
At our house, time is always 20 mins faster
so...don't panic when u look at the clock hehe...
Did you know that a good clock can be very expensive? Now i totally understand the meaning "Time is precious" :P
