Artsy Me

I promised my friend that I would help out in their drama performance as a make-up artist.

I don't really know why I have the guts to say Yes because when I was in secondary school, i always received "see me" remark from my art teacher who thought i needed a lot of improvement in my art.

Seriously, what makes her think i need improvement because when Jane and I were at the Louvre Museum in September, I couldn't understand many of the art pieces too, but they were world famous!!

So my point is, Art is a very subjective matter... no one can be good or bad in art because it's your own unique style that makes an art art... . Gosh, i love ART! :P

My friend has 130 kids in the performance. Because the drama was the last agenda of the day, the make-up artists had only 10 minutes to paint their faces. haha, i love that I can also be a MAKE-UP ARTIST! hahaha... My job is to convert the little kids into pigs and foxes. How awkward is that? Considering that pigs and foxes generally don't mix well since foxes eat pigs... haha..

It's Show Time!

My friend and I are serious make-up artists. We did our sketches beforehand... on a piece of paper actually... The kids didn't know that we were to paint their faces for the very first time in our lives for they sincerely believed that we are REAL make-up artists. Love how the kids totally trust us... If only we adults are as simple as them too, then the world would be so much more peaceful~

The kids were fun to be with but when there were 130 of them in a small area, it can be a little bit too much. With the noise and animal faces, I really felt like i was in a zoo hahaha...

Just to let u know, although my secondary school teacher here thought my Art sucks, my art teacher in Aust, however thought otherwise. In fact,  i received encouragement and compliments from her so often that I thought I could be the next Leonardo da Vinci! haha...

When I was in KL earlier of the month, beautiful Xmas deco is already up. I particularly loved this one~ Took it at the hotel where we had training~ it's a bit out of focus but very artsy :P

I received a very early Xmas present this year, like in mid November! I think it's my belated birthday present but because the cafe we went to is very Christmasty, so I kinda get confused which event we were actually celebrating hahaha~ Ah well, no harm to think of it as a Christmas + birthday present since both events are Equally full of happiness! :P

Missing for one week

For the first time in 2014, i broke my routine and didn't update my blog on a weekly basis! I really wanted to write and had lots of stories in my mind, but I couldn't find a time to post them here. If only my thoughts could be digitally transferred from my brain to computers! 

I was asked to attend a GST course for 4 days on a last minute notice. So, I packed my bag and headed to KL with my colleagues. The class ended at 7.30pm everyday. We had breakfast, teas, lunch and dinner in the hotel... Didn't sound very interesting hey? Guess what, I kinda enjoyed it :P

I must say, Dr. Choong is a very humourous guy. While being serious about the issues, he didn't forget to insert many funny stories to make us laugh. Not once did my mind wandered elsewhere nor did I feel sleepy at all! I actually sighed when it was break times! I know! I'm crazy for saying this! haha... 

We had very good refreshments, as per him, he wanted us to get the most out of this course, so he wanted us to eat the best to boost our brains. Haha, it's nice of him... On the last day of the course, we even had a cart full of mini magnums! I couldn't resist and had two :P

I attended another seminar this week at a 5 star hotel. I guess the good food at Park Royal Hotel has spoilt me as the food served here totally didn't appeal to me! I actually looked at the food without touching any! I couldn't believe I said NO to food! haha.. Gosh, am such a spoilt brat :P

Dinner with friends

Weekend is here! Yaye~ 

My friend celebrated our birthdays with us, the Scorpios 2 weeks ago. She took us to a 'mysterious' cafe for dinner. Why did i say mysterious? Because we had to drive through a narrow road and dark bush before we were greeted by this bright lit cafe. Kinda reminds me of  a Palace in the middle of nowhere~ 

It's a cafe where customers can officially bring their pets to have dinners with them. I heard from the owner that some people do bring very interesting pets with them, like snakes and tortoises.  Hmmm.. they are not my kind of pets in mind :P

While i was happily exploring the interesting cafe, my two friends decided to connect virtually with someone elses~ Hmmm.. what did i just said about being controlled by gadgets?

最近看很多朋友們在FB上po 的低頭族的卡通〜嗯，只能說，時代不一樣了〜

現在每人手上一架多功能的手機，相機，iPad，電腦等。吃飯前大家不再是祈禱感恩而是拿起手機和相機拍下美食~吃飯時，大家不再交談而是看著銀幕跟其他人交談或“放空”（看FB，看電影等）〜食~吃飯時，大家不再交談而是看著銀幕跟其他人交談或“放空”（看FB，看電影等）〜

當然，科技的進步也帶來了很多方便〜我记得以前要出国都得找旅行社帮忙安排。电话打来打去的超多流程的。然后还得约时间到旅行社付钱。但现在，自己就像精通全世界的达人，机票住宿旅遊行程在自家就可以搞定！就连購物也能不需出外或出国就能买到想要的了！但也因为太方便，我常常‘不小心’买太多 T_____T

雖然科技帶來了很多方便但不懂得善用的人就會被科技控制〜我記得我有位前同事，我們明明就坐在她的四周但她卻用email來跟我們說事情。有時明明就在旁邊但卻沒聊天反而在聊天群講的沒完沒了〜不得不說，現在的人越來越不懂如何“人性”化的交流了〜不但大人受到科技的控制，就連小孩子也是一樣〜吃飯，去上學路途，就連洗澡都還在看電腦手機。我在想，他們長大後的童年回憶會是什麼呢？

那天我們在我二姐的家為小侄女慶生，切了蛋糕後小侄子和小侄女突然不見人影，後來才發現他們拿著蛋糕盒子變裝去了~哈哈〜很開心看見我姐姐還是堅持'古老'的教育〜

Today is a very special day! 

Not only is it a day many loving couples get married (due to its auspicious resemblance as 1111 means you are my forever one) , there is also a HUGE online sale (which i also participated @_@). Today is also a special day in China for the Singles called 光棍节, which means The Singles Day.. I don't know why there is such an event. May be it is to create something to celebrate hehe... Most importantly, it's the birthday of the adorable twins, Jane and Jennifer! hehe... Hooray!

This year is a bit more special because i found my long lost childhood friend at a bazaar whom we lost contact since high school. Guess what? We were born on the same day, same month and in the same year! And what's more special, she has an identical twin sister too! 

We weren't close to her sister because they were separated since birth.  10 years ago, i saw someone who looked exactly like her at a dinner event. I was so excited and ran to her, patted her back real hard because that was how we greeted each other when small. She turned around and looked a bit angry, shocked and puzzled... I felt a bit awkward and thought that she probably had forgotten who I'm since i might have looked different. It turned out that she wasn't my long lost childhood friend but the other twin sister which i had never met before! It was embarrassing! So I know totally understand how u guys feel when u mistook me/Jane for Jane/me! 

Celebrations started way before today... Today, I am flooded with birthday greetings and wishes from all over the world. They really brighten up my day. Thank you so much! I feel so blessed to have all of you in my life! I even received my name stickers today! What a day!

我的心聲

A lot of people admire my height~ Being tall is good because we get to 'look down' on a lot of people :P BUT (love and hate this word), there are a lot of downsides too... 

Just to give you some examples:

1) My smaller sized friends always receive help (like loading/unloading luggage for them) from strangers. Being tall, people assume that I am capable of doing everything myself. Although it's true but sometimes I would love to relax and watch others doing the things for me too :P What's worse, i sometimes have to be the one to help the smaller people T____T

2) Pretty dresses, skirts, pants and shirts i see online or in shops here are always too small or too short for me. The clothes here are made for Asians (although am one but not for BIG Asian like me T___T), the knee length dress for a 'Normal' Asian becomes my blouse and i can never find long pants and skirt that are long enough to cover my whole legs @__@ Once, i got Jane to buy a flare skirt for me on Taobao. Guess what? In Europe, I'm a size S but in China, i am a size XXXL! T______T

3) Smaller people always look younger than their real age while I'm the opposite, simply because I'm big and don't look 'cute' :( 

4) Being on a long flight is a torture to me (i feel sorry that i can only afford economy class) because there is not enough room to put my spidery long legs T______T

5) I have to 'bow' to smaller sized people a lot of times, just so that i can hear what they are saying. Hmmm.. I think they are not being polite because if i stand up to talk to them, they should stand up too. Ooopps, i forgot that they are already standing up.. hehe, ok, this is quite bad, am just kidding~ I love bowing to smaller sized people~  

Last but not least, I get recognised or remembered easily because of my unique height. I am not unhappy about it since I don't do bad things anyway, but I really don't like the recognition because i don't like spot lights :P

Need some peace and quiet

I told off 3 oldER men. oppps...

I was at a seminar 2 days ago.The 3 older men in the professional field next to me kept talking. At first, i tolerated since the MC was introducing the background of the speaker. They would probably become silent when the speaker spoke.

They didn't.

I continued to tolerate since speaker was still at his opening speech. Maybe they would stop talking when the speaker went into his topic of the day.

Nope, they continued to chat. About the cars they bought (even showing each other the pictures), children living abroad, their trips somewhere..... I didn't mean to ears drop but hey, they were not  whispering. Did they forget that they were in a seminar instead of the coffee shop?

The participants in the row front also turned back to stare at them but they probably were too into their 'old-friend' catch up that they didn't notice.

I thought it was a bit too much. Although it wasn't nice to tell off older people but i think i need to because I paid a fee to come here to learn about the tax topic and not some strangers' life happenings!

So I turned to them and said with a smile "Sorry gentlemen for interrupting but i can't hear what the speaker is saying'. They did a mouth-covering gestures and apologized. 

From that moment onwards, it was peace & quiet.... 

My new hobby

I am into making snow lotus yeast enzyme (雪蓮子酵素) lately.

When my friend asked if i wanna 'adopt' snow lotus yeast, i was a bit unsure because adopting something sounds like a serious and tedious job! I really don't want to burden myself since life is already complicated enough. I don't need more complicated things to complicate the already-complicated me. Are u confused? haha..

As soon as i read about the benefits of snow lotus yeast enzyme, I changed my mind. Their crystal-like look makes them look beautiful in the water.  What's more, they float up and down in the water during the fermenting process which kinda reminds me of the snow-globe except that there is no fairy-like figurine inside.

The enzyme is actually not complicated to make at all! The snow lotus yeast lives on brown sugar and filtered water. Yeah, 2 ingredients only! Yaye! I love simple recipes!

I have made many batches of enzyme drink. When I showed my first batch of  my final product to my mum, she rolled her eyes at me! I must admit, the colour of the enzyme drink does no look very tasty,  it  looks  kinda muddy but don't judge a book by its cover, it's actually very nice after refrigerated for a couple of hours! i poured some for my mum to try, at first, she refused. After she took a sip, she finished the whole bottle and even served it to her friends... Now her friends want to adopt snow lotus yeast too.

I'm 'breeding' more snow lotus yeast now to give away to friends who are interested to make their own enzyme drink.

My luggage to Paris

My check-in luggage to Paris was 28kg but none of the things inside belongs to me. My cabin luggage was 8kg and contained fragile and more expensive items which my mum prepared for my sister. So many things to bring but so little space.

As you can see, my clothes for 12 days (yes, inclusive of underwear) only occupied a small corner of my cabin luggage T___T

I must say, I really admire my packing skill because with so little space, i still managed to bring everything I needed! Unbelievable!

Saving the polkadots lady~

I was at my aunt's house for a lunch party the other day.

When I arrived with my mum, she was still in the midst of cooking. Since she has friends to help her, i decided to spend my time in her garden. haha, actually i just wanted some fresh air because the air in this house was too hot & spicy to bear. They sautéed chopped chilli and onions for chicken rendang.

Fortunately it wasn't too hot outside. It just rained that morning and her abandoned mini fountain was filled with clear water... There I saw something orange in colour floating in the water and was kinda moving! I looked closely, it was a lady-bird! Wow! I haven't seen a ladybird for ages! It reminded me of my childhood!

At our home where we stayed, there was a bush right next to it. Everyday after school, we would go to the bush and 'pick' ladybirds. There were red ones as well as orange ones. Sometimes there were baby ladybirds too! There were so tiny! We competed to see who collected the most. haha, we kids would do anything to amuse ourselves.  Well, what to do? We didn't have smart phones or tablets to play with at that time. I kinda miss the old-fashioned way of growing up though. Oh, back to the collected ladybirds, don't worry, no ladybirds were hurt at all during the competition. They were carefully picked, counted and released back to their homes after we announced the champion of the day.

I scooped the struggling ladybird from the water and placed her on the leave.  I couldn't tell from her expression if she is happy to be on a dry place. There is a possibility that she might be angry at me for she might be having a great swim in the water haha~ Can u tell?

Jane & Jennifer 在梦境里！

雖然我很愛吃麵包但這個月請不要餵我吃麵包！ ！ ！ ！

是的！我很少會對食物 say NO, 但在法國英國期間我們早餐配麵包，中餐也配麵包，晚餐也配麵包後，我變成了名符其實的麵包超人。

剛抵達巴黎是當地早上6點半。一踩到巴黎的機場，我才確認我不是在作夢！如果你能聽到我內心的話，鐵定聽到我在吶喊著 “我真的在法國了！”。鄉巴佬出城，請原諒，哈哈~

到姐姐家梳洗之後，姐姐就開車帶我們到巴黎市中心。車子開在成功之道，Champ Elysees 香榭大道時，我和 Jane 超開心的。時差，好幾十小時的路程的累，肚子餓全忘光光了~ 當年拿破崙勝戰時就是走在這道路上的！哇，想不到我也有機會走在這裡！我感受到了當時的拿破崙的驕傲了！估計他當時也是這麼興奮的！ :P

遠遠就看到雄偉的凱旋門，我和 Jane 更加興奮。手機相機對著它拍個不停。我姐一旁好笑的說'你們需不需要那麼興奮呀？ “當然要！一直都在書本和電視上看見凱旋門，以為這一輩子都不能親眼見到，現在竟然活生生，實實在在的在我眼前！

很美吧？不拍是不是对不起自己？哈哈

看到兩旁充滿歐洲風，華麗的雕刻的建築物，我確定我在巴黎了。是的，剛抵達法國時有種在夢裡的感覺因為歐洲對我來說是個遙遠的夢想， 要不是姐姐想念家人了，我不曉得何時才會觀故歐洲呢~ 話說回來，巴黎美呆了！走一走又停下來拍照~ 我姐快受不了我們了。從停車場到米雪林餐廳只是短短5，6分鐘的路程，我們卻永遠走不到，哈哈哈~ 沒辦法，香榭大道太美了，隨便拍隨便美，所以只好委屈我姐和baby咯~

我们在成功之路！耶！

去法國餐廳用餐時，他們都會先送上法式麵包給客人。就像你去吃中餐他們會送上花生蝦餅這樣~ 我們在法國的第一餐，看到一藍的麵包時，我和Jane像餓鬼一樣一顆接一顆的吞。法國麵包真的很香，外脆內軟~ 但因為接下來要享用3 course的法式餐點，我們才克制自己，但心裡超想打包帶在身上的。是的，我們也很歐巴桑！哈哈~ 從第一天想打包到後來看到麵包就想吐，可想像我們在法國吃了多少的麵包嗎~ 哈哈哈~ 沒辦法，麵包是法國人的主食嘛~ 告訴你喔，大家都會趕在星期天前購買食物因星期天和星期一商店是休息的，全商店不開除了麵包店！看到麵包在法國的重要性了嗎？而且法國麵包一定要當天買當天吃因為隔夜的麵包硬梆梆的，不好吃了~

好啦，回到我們米雪林的餐點。托姐姐的福，我們才能享用大餐因為她今天請我們吃！耶！打開菜單，全是法文耶~　我姐用她有限的法文翻譯給我們- 這是牛肉，這好像是鴨肉，這是雞肉，這個是魚肉． ． ． ．嗯，這樣的翻譯有點讓我感受不到食物的魅力耶～　人家好歹也是米雪林餐廳，怎麼聽起來像是在快餐店呀？哈哈． ． ． ．後來帥哥服務員來講解，我們立刻點下了我們在法國的第一餐！

別小看餐點都小小一份的，雖精緻但真的很紮實。連我這只恐龍都飽到不行！說真的，來法國前我沒做多少功課。我是在出發前不久，趕緊打開'食尚玩家'遊法國的影片做參考的，哈哈~ 他們真的是懶人的好幫手！他們教了一句法文讓我打遍巴黎天下，那就是C'est super (發音：些需配）~ 很美，很好吃，很贊，很棒等都能用上~ 所以帥哥服務員問說東西如何時，我一句些需配，Jane一句C'bon (very good的意思），帥哥聽了笑瞇瞇。我姐姐在一旁覺得我倆很好笑。哈哈~

要开餐咯~ 

吃飽後我們又逛香榭大道咯～　這裡很美。兩旁的樹木整整齊齊的～　而且巴黎的樹都有特別修剪過的喔。可愛及了！走著走著我們又坐下來享用下午茶了。是有名的 Ladurée 呢～來到法國沒吃馬卡龍就像去到古晉沒有吃kolomee, laksa 一樣，再飽也要來一份！哈哈～

走進店內，裝潢也太美了吧！好多雕刻，金光閃閃的，好美啊~ 我姐姐幫我點了Vienna Coffee。熱熱的黑咖啡加上厚厚的鮮奶油是人間天堂！照著這樣的方式吃我不肥死才怪！哈哈~不過人生有幾回能來到巴黎，就肥死吧！哈哈~ 苦甜的咖啡加上甜酸的 rasberry甜品，不會膩耶！

再贵也要吃喝！要不然回来后悔！哈哈

不好意思，我失陪一下因為我們三姐妹要在這優雅的地方好好的享受我們的法式下午茶~

Incident in the plane~~

i have never been in a flight for 12 hours straight before. The longest is only 7 hours... I remember the last time i took a flight to Brisbane, i spent the whole time eating, drinking and watching movies. Luckily I slept for 8 hours as soon as i boarded A380 to Paris at 12am. I didn't care that I missed my supper (rarely happened as i'm a food addict hehe). When i woke up, i found packs of snacks on my table. Love how thoughtful the MAS flight attendants were!

Something  bad almost happened when i was in the plane~  I had my best travel companion, Rabbit nicely tucked behind my neck when i went to dreamland. When i woke up, it was gone! I asked the flight attendant if she has seen it~  She said it might have fallen onto the floor and kicked elsewhere by the passengers. So I bent down to look around but couldn't see a thing as the lights in the cabin was off. 

The flight attendant then went to get a torchlight and crawled on the floor in her tight uniform to look for my companion. Then she got up and said to me apologetically that she couldn't find it but maybe we could look for it again when we landed, when all the passengers left. I felt touched at her helpfulness and embarrassed at the same time. I told her it's OK. Deep down, i was prepared to lose Rabbit... After all, the plane is huge~ And it might have been taken by someone anyway since Rabbit is so cute :P 

When we were almost landing, the flight attendant knelt down to look for Rabbit again and this time, she found it! Oh my! She is really something! Thanks for not giving up! ^^

I don't know if anyone is interested to hear about my trip but I will write it anyway coz it's MY diary! hahahaha...

When the 3 are not united

Bonjour Everybody! I'm back!

Do u miss me?

I'm physically here but my mind and soul are still on holiday.

Not a good news because:

Last Saturday, one of my neighbours got married and our already-narrow road was narrower because the visitors parked their cars at BOTH sides of the road. I reversed because there was an oncoming car and i forgot to check the sides. When i hit my brake, i saw in my rear mirror that I almost hit one of the visitor's cars  Σ( ° △ °|||)︴

Not so lucky the second time because I almost killed Tiger on the same day... haha, ok, I am exaggerating. Tiger's foot/ paw was trapped under the car when I reversed. He is afraid of cars and will usually stand elsewhere but last Saturday, he didn't move away from my car o(′益`)o   Poor Tiger.... Luckily he is not hurt but I feel guilty so I feed him a lot of yummy cookies hoping that he will forgive and forget. So far i think it's working.... :P

I was late to meet my friends on Sunday because when one of them called me at 1030am, I was still in dreamland! OMG, i rarely wake up after 8am! My body must have thought that it was still 4.30am @_@

I hope my mind and soul will come back before major disaster happens. Now i learn that the three cannot be separated .....

Busybody

It's a crazy week this week...

Everything suddenly comes in one go~ training, meetings, discussions, old-friend and relatives visiting from outstation, deadlines, assignments....  I thought I could have a peaceful sleep at night but no... i continued to be busy in my dreams~ gosh, i wish time could stop for a moment for me to take a break~~~

Thank goodness my colleague generously shared some cherries with us during our discussion this afternoon...  I really need some booster and the red beautiful cherries did manage to cheer up my day..... and my brain hehe....

When the waitress at the fancy eatery delivered my hot milo, i thought this will cost me a bomb because it was presented in a "more complicated" way. Don't be fooled by the pot, it's not full... The milo tastes just the same as the one i get at the kopitiam . And you know what?  I actually thought this is a reasonable price! haha... Looking at the number of  utensils they use, i think it's OK that they charge more since they need to pay the dish washer hahaha...

So, presentation does matter huh?

Did u get it right? It's OK if you don't. It doesn't mean you are no good. It just means you are not good at observing details :P

回到小時候~

星期日，我早上7點就起床了。好早，但也很興奮因為今天我們要去小鎮新堯灣 (Siniawan) 老街玩耍！

小時候，爸媽常帶我們來這小鎮玩。媽媽也很愛因為那裡有新鮮的豬肉出售，價格比市區便宜。還有自家種的蔬菜水果，肉丸，客家菜粿等等~

小鎮真的很小，只有兩排木製的店屋而已~ 一目了然，真的超簡單的。小時候我會想，這裡的人幸福嗎？每天他們都做什麼呀？那裡沒有戲院又沒有商場，感覺還挺悶的~ 長大後反而很珍惜這小鎮老街。反而覺得簡單就是幸福。哈哈，怎麼會這樣？有句話說得真的沒錯~ '小時候幸福很簡單，長大後簡單是幸福'，真的耶！

言歸正題。星期天一早我開著車子帶著我媽和媽媽的好朋友們去小鎮老街~ 路上的風景好熟悉！小時候爸爸開車時我們會一路看風景。現在輪到我開著車子載著媽媽去玩耍。感覺我長大了但爸媽仍覺得我是小孩子~ 記得以前到處都是稻田和樹林。偶爾會有幾間小屋。現在很多樹林不見了，變成了房屋和工廠~ 可喜可忧~

约45分鐘後，我們終於抵達新堯灣小鎮啦！這裡每逢星期五至日都有夜市，但媽媽們不喜歡人擠人，所以我們決定白天來玩耍~ 雖然冷清了些但我反而很喜歡這種悠閒的feel~ 這才是我熟悉的小鎮！

走在路中间也不怕被车撞倒！哈哈

小鎮還是一樣，仿佛搭了時光機回到以前。腦海裡的木製店屋還在但殘舊了許多。歲月在這裡留下了痕跡呀，但也因此增添了一種古色古香的味道。大概是新一代都已到市區工作的原因，有些店屋空著了。看著空著的老木店屋，心裡有一種其妙的feel~ 好像有些淒涼但好像又有些安寧~

有些屋主改建了，把老店變著了美麗的咖啡廳，客棧，美食屋讓來這裡的都市人放鬆。舊舊的老街加上了一點點摩登的元素好像也不會太突兀耶~ 

妈妈们又开始‘血拼’咯~ 

這里風涼涼的。有山有水。有新鮮的肉菜。四周的人都講客家話讓我覺得很有親切感。這裡還有一家很好吃的麵包店。老闆曾在新加坡做了20年的麵包師傅，現在決定回來自己家鄉創業。他家的麵包種類很多，價格也不貴。重點是老闆說他早上3點起來做的，聽了真的很感動！ 3點我還在作夢呢！最開心的是，我在這裡喝到很好喝的奶茶，還有很好吃的菜湯~ 和家人朋友邊看著山邊享用早餐真的一級棒！

优静的小镇

我還蠻喜歡這裡。不曉得是因為這小鎮有我小時候的回憶，還是風景優美讓人放鬆，還是因為老街保留的很好（因古晉的老街已經慢慢變商業化了），還是因為這裡的人比較純樸（我們不用擔心在這裡會遇到壞人！）。不管是什麼原因，希望這樣的小鎮老街可以一直保存下去！也希望小鎮老街的人們不要失去自己的特色！

It just rained!

It finally rained this evening after almost 3 weeks of draught! *dancing in the rain"

For the past weeks, I woke up sweating like crazy almost every night due to the heat~ and I showered 4-5 times a day which temporary cooled my body down, like 2 minutes after which I would sweat again T___T I can't even tell whether it was sweat or I didn't towel myself dry enough T_________T

Even Tiger was lazy~ he just lied down on the floor like a piece of tree trunk~ and when I called him for meals, he continued to pose like a Egyptian statute. 

Mum's pot plant died because I forgot to water it~ and the sky was hazy and the air smelled bad~ I felt like everything is turning ugly~ We need rain! Plsssss...

Our prayer is finally answered today! Rain God visited and cleansed the world! Yaye! Everything came alive after the rain! Even Tiger starts to jump around like  Tigger! Haha

I did not watch a single match this World Cup. 

I think I've grown older. Sleep is more important to me :P

Before the semi-final, someone posted a 'prediction' poem on Facebook. 

My friends and I couldn't stop laughing when we came across it. The writer is really creative! Or should I say, the Chinese words are indeed incredible! I don't think you can write this in other languages while retaining the meaning!

Although I suck at Chinese but I'm glad that I know the basics. Can't imagine not being able to read Lo Fu Zi (老夫子），小叮当 and many others! haha...

Back to the prediction, looks like this poem hits bulleye! Germany WON! 

這次世界杯

意大離了，西班啞了，

英格爛了，烏來歸了。 。 。

1/4決賽：

哥倫比啞了，法蘭熄了，

比利失了，哥斯達離家了

照這思路，接下去半決賽

巴熄了，

決賽是德國阿根廷。

冠軍應該是德國！

My Mum can really buy~

My mum flew all the way to Down Under to take care of my nieces as my sister went to Laos to do charity works. Mum is indeed the Greatest person on earth! She gives and loves unconditionally~ And she buys unconditionally too.....

Mum came home with check-in bags of 30kg. That wasn't enough. She still had to leave things behind. And she continued to shop when she was at KLIA2. Gotta salute mum for her ability to buy haha...

The moment she reached home, she took out all the food and presents for me from her bags. it was quite impressive....

Cheese, bacon, ham, nuts, fruits, shirts....

Due to my poor photography skill, you probably can't see the little hill formed on the table. Some are hidden underneath the pile of stuff... it's really a lot! imagine all these going into my stomach? oo hoo, a hill will form in my stomach soon haha...

Mum brought back big lemons and mandarins from my sister's garden too. Love her lemons. They are always so huge and juicy! Just look at the size! The one on the left is taken from my sister's garden while the one on the right is from the local supermarket here.

Mum still remembers that i love to eat capsicums. she bought me two all the way from Aus. They are huge too! Look, it's almost as big as my big fat face!! Had one on the second day.. My colleague screamed when she saw me eating it because she has never seen a capsicum so big before AND  anyone eating it like an apple.... haha, ok, i admit that I do act a bit uniquely (or just simply lazy??) sometimes haha...

I must say, my mum always amazes me, just like how i amaze others with my eating habits and appetite haha...
