O Che Face

My right cheek is still a bit swollen and bruised. 

Poor me, i got hit... >__<  it almost got my right eye but luckily i am tall, it hit the side of my eye instead! Aren't I lucky? *自我安慰*

So what happened? Who has the guts to bully a giant like me? *looking for the guilty party*

The big bully is indeed very big.. both her guts and body size. I looked at my swollen face in the mirror.... And the guilty party looked back and laughed at me... for being soOOo careless....

I was at my friend's house the other night. Half way thru talking, I realised that I'd left my mobile phone in the car... I worried I would miss calls from friends (who might thought I were dead if i didn't pick up) so I quickly ran to the car to grab it.... 

I opened the car door like normal but as the car was parked too close to a drain, i leaned forward a bit and Bang!, i hit myself... right in the face! It was darn painful i tell u! I almost screamed but being a lady, i held back ... The area near my right eye was instantly swollen.. i quickly rubbed it hoping it would subside and most importantly, bruise-free.... 

Well, it didn't work.. it is swollen and bruised.... The good thing about having a big face is that, nobody noticed about it.. they probably mistook it as a super duber big pimple, serious eyebag problem or just dark circle due to lack of sleep... 

Well, the lessons learned? Life is the way u act.. You can either cry or get angry when bad things happen and have a miserable life OR face and solve your problems and learn from them.. 

For me, I've learnt never ever to rush when doing something... Take it easy, then life will be breezy...

單純一點，簡單一些

昨晚和遠方來的親戚們吃晚飯。他們分享了很多有趣的事情。我因為肚子太餓了，只忙著吃東西，對他們說的話也沒記得很多。哈哈~ 都是自己太貪吃！

其中一個我最有印像的笑話就是發生在我來到地球之前。話說我媽，阿姨和舅舅們還是少男少女的時候，他們家附近有家工廠。工廠請了很多‘辣仔’。記得有一次我媽的家買了一架新電視，因為當時電視是稀有物品，工友們很好奇，大家都跑來家裡看電視。

其中一支是牙膏廣告。廣告中有個漂亮女生刷牙，然後嘴裡散發出很多花朵。工友們看了很開心，大家第二天都跑到商店去買跟廣告中一模一樣的牙膏。大家在水溝邊排排站，一起很用力的刷牙，但刷了老半天都不見一朵花從嘴裡出來。對啊，他們去做了才懂原来那只是廣告效果！

以前的人真的很單純啊... 去做了會有所领悟。 人是從什麼時候開始變復雜的？現代的人甚麼也不相信。儘管用心煮了很多免錢，好吃又有營養的飯菜捧在他們面前，還是沒人要吃。還得被懷疑耶。其實只要你吃吃看，就会知道它的味道了。就那麼簡單。朋友們，你愿意吃一口嗎？

In the middle of the night....

I was in the study room doing my tax computation at 1am last night.. It's that time of the year again!? Hate it!! Coz it means money going out.. my income is already so low, please spare me le... oh well, like people always say, there are 2 things u can't avoid in life ~ death and taxes!

Well, mum came downstairs and found me still 'awake'. She kept nagging at me. I know, it's for my good.... coz she wants me to rest early.... ^^ But the thing is, she was still awake herself.. And guess what? She was in the kitchen making food which she would be bringing to morning exercise to share the next day (or should I say, in a few hours time? Hehe). So, she asked me to go to sleep while she made food in the middle of the night? So not persuasive haha..

These were delicious! Mum made these pretty late at night. Hope she wasn't sleep-walking when she did these haha...

Ok, don't say I didn't warn you! Read at your own risk! hehe...

I finally can type with both hands! \(^^)/

The other morning, i accidentally burned my right hand with BOILING WATER T_____T

I wanted to fill my bottle with hot water and when i picked the electric kettle up, the cable didn't completely detach...Next second, hot water splashed out and burned my hand. It was so painful that all i wanted to do is to release the kettle from my hand and soak my poor hand in freezing water to kill the pain!

But i didn't let go because if i did, the kettle would drop onto the floor, hot water would splash out and burned my other legs and feet... Will power is very important!

As soon as i put the kettle away, I quickly applied ointment all over my right hand. it burned even more! Now i know it feels to be cooked alive in hot water! *生不如死* But the ointment did manage to reduce my pain...... a bit.... :'(

My hand was painful for the whole day... it's like it continued to be cooked even though I'd done everything I could think of to cool it. A slight touch of water sent pain down my spine, which means, after toilet, i couldn't wash my right hand *ewwww...* haha, actually, i did wipe my right hand with wet tissues paper la.. i couldn't bear a 'dirty' hand too :P

During shower, I waved my right hand in the air to avoid water.. it's like i was in a music concert, except that there wasn't anybody singing... And it was darn hard doing things with just one hand.. pulling up pants and button up shirts required more effort than usual...... Everything took longer ....

My right hand turned from raw red to blue-black after a few days, then skin started to peel off.. i was like a snake, changing its skin! it was scary to look at but it's good to know that my right hand is healing by itself...

I've burnt my fingers by touching hot pots before but never did i know that being burnt by boiling water can be this painful too! oh well, at least I survived. The next time I get asked about being burnt, i could reply with confidence, "Been there. Done that!"

不幸中的大幸!

我真的很烏龍!!

上星期四早上，我到公司後才發現我把裡面裝有我的早餐和水的包包留在家門外。我很少會忘記的。早餐耶，是我一天中最重要的一餐！還有我是出了名的水桶。我每天都要喝很多很多的水，所以我都會帶自己的水瓶去上班。嗯，我是幫公司省錢的好員工！哈~ 所以啊，忘了這麼重要的東西真的不是我的作風！

由于我不想參與塞車，所以我等了約一個小時才開車回家去。到家裡時，我發現我家裡‘冒煙’!! 是真的冒煙啊！好多好多烏煙從窗口冒出來。我立刻想起我早上有熱湯但忘了關瓦斯啦 >_<

剛好我爸媽沒在家，沒人發現那鍋黑豆豬肉湯還在滾。結果鍋子和裡頭的黑豆和豬肉焦掉了。家裡被臭臭的煙包圍。鍋子黑了，裡面的黑豆豬肉也變成黑炭了.....

我後來回想所看到和發生的，我沒想到自己竟然那麼冷靜! 以前的我一定會很緊張，生氣。會怪天怪地。現在的我反而很感恩。感謝我忘了帶早餐和水瓶。因為我的建忘我才會回家。才會發現瓦斯沒關。我的家才會安然無恙。

我發現，原來從另一個角度看事情，真的可以很自在！

....Was driving home from work as usual...

Something caught my attention.... Immediately, I took out my phone to take picture despite the danger of doing so while driving.... all because i wanted to share with all my beloved friends of the interesting and rare sight i saw... i know, i'm nice... just like always :P

The blue blue thingie was dangling at the bottom of the car in front of me... almost touching the road. I thought, perhaps an important part of the car came off and the driver didn't know about it. So i sped up a bit to have a clearer view ...

Then I laughed... It was Doraemon. I wonder why he was down there... Did he lost his small helicopter which is his usual 'transportation' and needed a ride to get to his destination? Nothing is more adventurous than this ! Doraemon must be having a hell lot of fun down there! haha...

我們的玩意兒

現在的小孩物質上不缺乏，一人一架智慧型手機和ipad已是平常事了。

記得小時候，我們的玩具得靠自己的想象力創造的。有次我們和家裡的狗狗玩警察捉小偷的游戲。我們到處亂跑，狗狗在后面拼命得追。然后我們會 爬上鐵籬笆休息。狗狗會因為捉不到我們而在籬笆邊奔奔跳跳汪汪叫。然后我們又會找時機再從高處跳下來，又繼續了狗狗追我們的游戲。這就是我們的童年。 有時我們也會有想要的東西，但奇怪的是我們很少會去跟爸媽伸手要錢。我記得我們帶著家裡的狗狗到叢林裡採野菜，然后把菜賣給隔壁家的阿姨。我們還 手工制作了 一些書簽，然后在家門口擺攤子作起生意來。噢，原來我們小時候就當小老板了。呵呵。。。。 不過這‘小生意’也不長久，因為后來我們把媽媽廚房裡的用具拿到后院開始了我們的餐廳。當媽媽發現我們把她不鏽鋼的小鍋子拿到花園裡以干了的芒果葉子燒菜 時， 把我們罵了一頓。后來我們在樹下挖了個洞，把燒得黑黑的鍋子埋在地上，做成了一個小湖。湖裡的小魚是我們到路邊的水溝捉的。現在回想我的童年，我真的覺得 我們的想象力很豐富！哈哈~~

那天和朋友約會。因為天氣很熱，我們決定去吃冰。進到cafe裡，看見一些顧客們在玩手提電腦，有些在玩手機。就連餐廳的點餐方式也是採用touch screen的電腦。好先進吶！現代的人已經被科技控制咯。我和朋友也在cafe玩起來了。猜我們的玩意是什麼?

哈哈，我們倆的臉皮也太厚了吧。兩個老大不小的人竟在cafe玩娃娃。根本不把旁人放在眼裡嘛。呵呵... 不管啦，如果能讓别人把注意力從電腦和手機轉到我們的身上，那也不錯啦。而且娃娃那麼可愛，多看幾眼是應該的。哈哈！
