My friends were comparing wealth (as usual) over lunch the other day (many years ago). It's easy to tell that we are Chinese! Because we fight to be the 'poorest'. Chinese are sure low profile and humble when money is involved haha..... Today's society is full of thieves, we gotta be as low key as possible :P
That day, my friends were comparing wealth by judging on the Brand of glasses one wears. I don't wear glasses so I just sat and watched the actions. Words flew here and there and I moved my head left and right like watching some kind of a tennis competition. Suddenly, someone blurted out 'you wear BLURBLURRY!' *??(-.-)??* Everyone went silent after the remark. Is that a new designer? It's not possible that we've never heard of it....
Ooooo... He meant Burberry! *Laugh* *Still laughing* He said 'I'm a Foochow wat.....' Ookie, we have to accept his excuse. After all, he is the man who said he will put 'neng-kark' (instead of $) in angpows.
FYI, neng-kark = bra in Hokkien
