Husky, a Happy-Go-Lucky Doggie
I received a lot of comforting words since Husky's death. Thank you so much guys. It's just so hard to accept the fact that I will never see Husky ever again. Everytime I talk and think about Husky, my tears will pour out uncontrollably. Ppl said she is just a dog. But to me, she is more than that. She was a friend. She was really close to me and also the first doggie I ever invested so much love and time in. I cannot forget the look in her eyes before she passed away - so many things to say but none could be spoken...
On Weds, I came home to find a plastic bag on top of Husky's grave. Mum said Husky's yellow doggie friend came looking for her and wanted to dig her out of her grave! Guess Husky's playmate missed her too. Husky was not only loved by people but also doggie. Felt so touched and sad at the same time. Everyone misses Husky. Husky has brought so much happiness. I hope she will continue to do so in her next life.

Goodbye Forever my Beloved Husky.....
Today, I came home from work as usual. Husky wagged her tail and shaked her bum at the gate to welcome me. She always did that. It was such a warm and loving feeling. I had always felt happy at the sight of her - knowing that I would always have a trusted best buddy by my side even if eveyone else left me.
Normally, she would wait for me by the car and the moment I opened my car door, she would jump at me and try to lick me. I would pat her and call her name lovingly. I could feel that she missed me. And yes, I missed her too. Today, she didn't do that. She took the chance to ran and see her yellow doggie friend that always waited for her by the side of the main road. I let her be because she would come home for dinner after that, like every other time. Just when I sat down to have dinner, I heard loud cries from far. I immediately ran to the patio to take a look. I saw a few stopping cars on the main road and then they moved away. NOT MY HUSKY! Without an umbrella, I ran to the roadside as fast as I could. Mum was following behind me. God, please not let that be Husky! Please don't take away my beloved companion. To my horror, I saw Husky lying on the pedestrian walk, her friend right next to her. She had been run over by a car and had a bit of trouble breathing smoothly. Mum and I carried Husky on a piece of board and I drove as fast as I could to Ting & Lu Vet at Tabuan Jaya (FYI, City Vet which is 5 mins away my house only opens at 7pm). I was driving, crying and comforting Husky at the same time. Each time I made a turn, she squeal. She was in pain. There were no blood, no external injuries. The whole time, I prayed to God not to take Husky away from me, but deep down I knew that she would not survive the internal injuries.
Call me superstitious. There were signs that my dearest Husky would not survive the tragedy.
Sign 1
Traffic lights turned red at Batu Lintang/Simpang Tiga junction. It took forever to turn green. I wished I had a sirent like an ambulance so I could reach vet fast!
Sign 2
I was behind a stupid, inconsiderate tortoise driver on Jln Simpang Tiga. I had to flash my lights to get him/her out of right lane!
Sign 3
There was a terrible jam along Tabuan Jaya Road. There is no way I could get to the other side (where the vet is) without getting stuck in the jam for 30 mins! I parked my car at the bus stop and tried to cross the busy road with Husky in my arms and in the rain.
Sign 4
So many cars!!! How the hell to cross a road like this????
Sign 5
Vet was tied up with a dying rabbit patient.
My heart ached so badly when I saw Husky not being able to breath smoothly. She was in a lot of pain I know. I could tell. When I put her on the examination bed. I knelt down beside her to stroke her nose. She had always loved that. Husky looked into my eyes as I did that, as if trying to tell me how sorry she is for leaving me. For not being able to grow old with me. For getting into trouble again. Husky, I know. I could telling in your eyes. U didn't mean to... I'm sorry too, for not caring enough to stop you from running out in the rain.
The vet gave her two injections - one to kill the pain and one to stop the internal bleeding. I was told that Husky was in a critical condition and if she survived til tomorrow, she would live. I cried and cried, praying that she would be fine. I kept patting her at the same time to assure her that things will be fine and that she is loved and that she will be jumping up and down, playing with me and also her doggie friend, accompanying mum in the garden, chewing shoes, breaking vases, plates and pots , killing mum's orchids etc very soon Be Strong Husky. Be Strong...
After 10 mins, Husky took a really deep breath and died at 6.53pm. Right before my eyes. It was heart breaking to part with her... I can't believe that I've lost Husky, forever.... I don't have any words to describe how I feel right now. I'm still crying as I write this. Losing Husky is like losing a part of my soul. I feel so incomplete and so alone without her. Jane's eulogy on Husky makes me cry even more. I would definitely miss my Can't-hate-but-love-her-even-more Husky.
I rested Husky outside, in front of my home so she would always be in the place she loved so much - the world outside the gate. Husky, Please take care of yourself in the Doggie Heaven. Please always remember that you were loved deeply by people you loved. Please remember that you will always take up a special space in my heart. We will miss you very very much....
It feels so strange to be without Husky. I thought I heard her but I know it is just my imagination. Normally, Husky would either distract me when I use the computer or rest under the sofa behind me. It is so depressing to know that she would not be around to light up my days anymore. Just now, I walked to the main road. I saw Husky's yellow doggie friend right on the spot where Husky was found injured. Doggie must be looking for his friend, wondering when she would return to play with him again..................

Sinful Pictures
Mr. Datuk-Look-Like (aka hip) asked for doughnuts from Krispy Kreme a while ago. Since it's his birthday today, Fairy Godsister (aka kind hearted ME) has decided to realise his wish. So HERE hip, enjoy ur birthday treat!!
I bought 4 dozens of original KK doughnuts in Sydney Airport (2 dozens for Krispy Kreme-Crazy brother, 1 dozen for myself and 1 dozen to eat on the spot! They flew with me from Sydney to Melbourne to Perth & finally disappeared into our tummies hehe...) last August. I know I know.. They are sweet, fattening (that's what makes them so doughnut-licious) & expensive. Sigh, I lost my will to fight when it comes to foooOOOOoood ;p It is worth gaining extra pounds for these little devils... Trust me ^V^

Nightmare after Too Much TV
I superglued myself to the telly lately. Have been following a series called 'Heroes'.
Anyway, there is this bad guy named Sylar in the series. He split-opens people's brains to take away their superpowers. Last night, I actually dreamt that I was being chased by the Killer, Sylar! I don't know what superpower I possessed he wanted so badly. Mayb it's my 'ability' to feel hungry all the time? haha... Anyways, Sylar chased after me and I ran frantically in a dark tunnel. I kept running and running and running...
I woke up feeling as if I just returned from a 24 hour run! My heart was pumping fast and I was sweating. The first thing I did was touching my head. Phew, it's still intact... so glad that It was just a scary dream...
Nothing can stop me from continuing with the Series. It is just TOO GOOD! ^^

When Ying And Yang Meets
Hmm.. I wonder what will happen when the two total opposites meet? Taylor is huge, white and obedient whereas Husky is small, black and naughty. My brother is worried that Taylor might get run over by cars in Kch. Small problem bro. U should be concerning abt bigger issue - it's said that '學好三年, 學壞三天' (translation: it takes three years to learn to be good and 3 days to become bad). By the time we send Taylor to Melbourne, i'm afriad that she might become as naughty as Husky haha...

It's my LUCKY nite
p/s: Gobbie & Zhu Hung, your parents don't need you guys anymore as they have already adopted a bunch of adorable kids! Don't bother coming home k? We have lots of fun together ^^
I only managed to take picture of one dish. The rest vanished in a flash, before I had a chance to snap pictures. Yup, we were THAT hungry haha... This is Fried Cod Fish with Orange, Orange Juice and Dragon Fruit. Doesn't it look spectacular?? *Drool* BTW, the fisherman was made from my favourite vege - YAM! I would swallow the whole thing IF it wasn't raw.
Lucky winners received CPA ballpoint pens in 1st round of lucky draw. Phew, luckily i wasn't one of them.... I have a bigger aim! I was hoping to win a trip to China. Alright, I know there isn't such a grand prize. A person is entitled to dream right? Come on, the theme is Oriental Nite! haha...
The 2nd round of lucky draw came after dessert. I told Belle who was sitting next to me that I wanna save my luck for the grand prize. Just as I finished this sentence, the speaker called out "One--Six--------six----------ZEROOOOoooooo!" My world went silent for 5 seconds. That's my number!!! I've never won anything in lucky draw contests. This is my FIRST! I actually had to search the floor for my ticket! haha....

Kch Festival is here agaaaaiiin....
1) No place to sit
Everyone in Kch all come out at the same time. But where are all the tables and chairs?
2) No airconds or fans to cool u down
We have to depend on mother nature for cool weather and air.
3) No waiter/waitress to take your orders
Have to compete with other customers to see who yell the loudest so the chef can hear ur order. Also have to watch where u walk to avoid 'human collision'.
4) Low quality of food
Food is served cold and is also not fresh. Mum's cooking is ALWAYS the BEST :)
5) Make lots of rounds to find one stupid parking spot
One uneducated kancil driver actually stole our spot last year!! Felt like scratching his car but I'm a civilised person...
6) Get stuck in the traffic before/after meal
*Yawn* Are we there yet???
7) U finally find a place to sit & when u are half way thru ur meal, rain pours
Well, at least it cools us down ^V^
8) Come home in sticky body & sweat-stained (ur own sweat or strangers'??) clothes. Ur hair also smells like food (yeeewww)
Shower, Shower, Shower!!
9) Pay more to get smaller serving of food
U would be full if you spent that $ on a plate of fish & chips + a drink at Westwood!!
10) The side effect of kch fest? Gain lots of pounds
Cannot wear the only pair of jeans that u can fit into anymore. May even need to buy a new pair of jeans if u cannot get rid of the fat.
11) Gamble with ur 'future'
All hawkers claim that their food are the best in Kch. *confused* we have to find out the hard way - pay & try.......
And if you are unlucky, you LS the next day (u get to lose weight!! (more like dehydration) & take sickie too!!) or worse, vomit on the spot like He-Who-I-Cannot-Name.
These are just some of my personal opinions. Am sure some of u would agree with me hehe... Kch Fest Lover, you are welcomed to defend ur favourite event. I'm a fair person :)

A Haunting
My friend came to pick me last night. Husky ran out of the house when the gate opened. She knows my neighbour's dogs are kept behind the fence. So last night, she challenged them by jumping back and forth at my neigbour's gate. The Rottweilers and German Shepherds were barking at her like mad. But cheeky Husky continued to annoy them. When we passedby the house, i was horrified because i saw one of Husky's legs being pulled by the fierce German Shepherd!! And Husky was struggling to free herself!! i don't know how the dog caught her because it was on the other side of the fence!!!!!! But it did!! I jumped out of the car (like 007 James Bond and Jacky Chan) to save my dog from being ripped apart by the big dog. Luckily it released her when it saw me. Poor Husky, she ran home with very loud cries. I ran back to check on her. Her leg was bleeding and was shaking uncontrollably too. There are a few very deep cuts from the attack *Painful*.. Imagine being stabbed in the arm by knife. i hope she learns her lesson - one mistake can cost ur life ;p
Fortunately, Husky is too big to go thru the fence. Can't imagine how she would end up if she got dragged inside!!
After witnessing such a vicious attack, im now in an unstable condition. It's like watching a friend being attacked by a lion or tiger!!! Horror Movies? Nahhhh, those are for kids!

Gotcha!!
We also surprised two friends with a huge birthday cake. It was a Banana Chocolate cake from Secret Recipe!! With real banana!! & Lots of chocolate too!! Yuuummmm... Okie, Let's not sidetrack here. Birthday boy and girl were surprised! Gotcha! haha... B'day boy was in tears because the cake was brought into our private room by two pretty ladies (He must be expecting sexy girls in bunny suits. Next time k? At ur bachelor party maybe ;p). Poor B'day girl, on the other hand was a bit disappointed because she did not have handsome & muscular hunks in tight swimming trunks to surprise her ;p haha......
The surprise reminded me of my very own surprise birthday years ago when I was away from home. I was spending the night at my friends' house. i got tired & turned off the lights, getting ready to sleep and all of the sudden, they came in with a birthday cake!! i jumped out (really jumped out) from my bed!!! haha... was so surprised and touched! Friends were glad that i switched off the lights myself, which made their job a lot easier haha...;p Ahhh... fond memories... I still keep the doraemon figurine which was placed on my cake...
I remember that night very clearly. Not only was I surprised, it was also my first bday without my sister. I remember thinking of Jane that night at the balcony under the stars, wishing her a Happy Bday in my heart. Janeeee, did u hear that?
