Angels in disguise

Today, jc admitted that he is lucky to know Jane and me ^^ He is grateful (I hope he really is ;p) that I've done him a big favour by solving an important & urgent matter.

Everyone needs an Angel who will come to his/her rescue in time of need. And jc is sure lucky to have two!!! So do everyone else who know us hehe...

"Supersize Me"

Had a big big lunch last Thurs! Actually, I planned to only have something light because i already had a few pieces of cakes during the meeting at HQ in the morning. But God wouldn't let meEEEeeee because we went to one of my favourite eateries called Tempayan where I always lose control. Like how kids are in candy bars. So many choices but so little stomach space! Everytime the waitress brings out a dish (be it mine or someone else's), I never fail to look in amazement. The fragrance, tasty look and SIZE of the food are enough to bring me up the heaven! Aaaahhh.....

*My colleagues' - Go on... lick your monitor*
(Lychee Fish Fillet & Rice; Kampung Fried Rice; Iced Pineapple, orange & lemon tea; Beef Burger - I tasted all. They aren't bad!)

After a very long 'discussion', my brain and stomach finally agreed on Very Berry Strawberry and TR Club Sandwich. I was expecting one serving of triangular-fast-food-style sandwich but instead, I was served with this

*Voila! My Tempayan's healthy version of Big Mac*
Our eyes popped out when the waitress presented me with this HUGE sandwich! For only RM8, i got french fries, salad and a REALLY BIG sandwich with turkey ham, 2 sunny-side up eggs, 2 pcs of melted cheese slices, lots of lettuce and tomato slices.

Wah, You should see how thick my sandwich was! Too 'tall' to even fit into my mouth! There goes my diet plan. Tempayan supersized me!! It was very delicious - love the crunchy toasts too! I only managed to eat half of the sandwich though because of its size. Am definitely going back there again, and again and again and... You know, am already thinking about my next visit hehehe....

Street Fighter

It is so frustrating to drive in Kuching! Drivers are just soOOOooo inconsiderate! They just park wherever and anyhow they want! They don't care if they are causing inconveniences to other users of the road.

Was driving in a narrow road just now. The road is so narrow that it only fits one car at one time. Half way thru the road, I faced this:

Please excuse my child-like drawing ;p Anyways, the good citizens parked their cars in proper parking spots whereas this 'not-fit-to-be-on-the-road' Kenari dude parked his car on the yellow line, with his 'butt' sticking out. It was difficult for my purple dinasaur to get thru! *Evil thought* How I wish some drunk driver would appear out of nowhere and turn that Kenari into a piece of scrap metal!!

After many minutes of careful car steering adjustments, I finally made it through, without hitting any of the cars of course. Still boiling hot, I got out of my car with a written note and stuck it on his windshield. It's just a friendly note to remind him to park properly next time. It says Watch where u park next time, you (_?_) !! I know, I should have written something harsh-er. But.... well, guess that's just not in my blood..... I'm just too kind.

High metabolism rate??

My normal food per day (let's take today for instance):

Breakfast - 1 meat zhang + 1 slice of peanut butter toast + hot drink

Morning tea - chocolate + keropok from colleague + 1 apple + 1 banana +
cherries + strawberries
Lunch - 2 slices of bread + mushroom soup + noodles + teh c
Afternoon tea - 1 banana + 1 capsicum + 2 apples + more cherries

Snacks after afternoon tea - 1 apple + 1 banana + more strawberries + Persimmon
Dinner - Minced pork + vege + soup + ginger chicken + Fish
Snack after dinner - Nuts

My snacks!

Trust me, am not greedy. I eat because i'm HUNGRY! One thing I cannot understand though - why am I hungry ALL THE TIME??? Mayb I've Polyphargia? ^^ I guess I just love and enjoy food :) A friend who eats way way less than me can go through one whole day with just one glass of milk + bread in the morning but no no, not me. My stomach will prompt me to fill it up after just one hour (or less) of food. My explanation? I use my brain too much, so my energy gets used up so fast that i've to constantly feed myself so i can continue to think. Hmmm... i wonder if Robert Einstein ate as much as me... ;p

Honestly, I rather die of overeating than starve to death...

******************************
I had lunch with a friend today... u think i eat a lot? wait til u see the amount of food my friend ate! After eating one plate of chicken rice (she totally cleaned up the whole thing!! except for a few slices of cucumber) + vege + iced lemon tea, she continued to fill her tummy with 1 bee pao bee, 1 cai kueh + 1 yam kueh + milo!!! I'm impressed!!

Ghostly Picture

Took this picture when I visited Jane in HK.

The lights and twinkling star made this outdoor Xmas Tree very pretty. To remember this forever, I snapped the photo. It turns out clear and beautiful but little did i know that my camera actually captured more than that..........

It's still Hungry Ghost month, so if you are scared, pls don't scroll down. If you are scared and still continue to scroll down, just remember this - You have been warned.

He is looking at u!

Great invention of the lifetime?!?!

How lazy can a person get??? I was looking thru a catalogue and spotted an item only for the Lazy. It is a battery operated Self-Stirring Mug!! It automatically stirs beverages at a touch of a button on the handle! Hmm... Is it so difficult to lift a spoon and stir? I never know that it requires a lot of effort to do that! i bet this mug must be invented by the Lazy for the Lazy. Hmm.. but hor, i think smarter ppl will use this to make themselves a cup of cappucino/chocolate that you normally pay RM12++ at fancy coffee shops. So in a way, you spend RM19.90 on the mug which in turn means that you will save yourself many RM12++. Now, that's a good-enough reason to have one ;p

Still the Best

Was re-arranging my cupboard and found this

Meteor Garden 流星花園

This taiwanese series is one of my old time favourites. I even spent RM129.90 on the ORIGINAL set of VCD from Speedy! I re-watched a few episodes of Meteor Garden just now. Ahhh.... They reminded me why I did not mind forking out from my poor saving accounts just to own the VCDs. It is a good series. Don't think I'll ever get tired of it ^^... I am still a fan of Jerry Yan. He is sOOoooo Cool & Handsome!!!!

sOoooo eng tau!!

Look at all these commercials by Jerry Yan! I would wait eagerly for the commercial time if these were shown in local tv!!
